The Visual Fortran I'm using is a licenced Compaq visual Fortran Standard Edition version 6.6.a. I recall it was bought through Amazon.com several years ago. I believe the software production has been discontinued by Compaq, and now Intel followed the production of Visual Fortran tools. Registration entitles you to exclusive benefits, such as the Visual Fortran Newsletter, and provides a record of your serial number should you misplace it.
